Klimb ("the app," "we") is a fitness and nutrition coaching app operated by Klimb Fitness. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and your choices. The short version: your data exists to power your own coaching, we don't sell it, and we don't show ads.
Account information. If you create an account: your email address (or Apple/Google sign-in identity) and a display name. You can use much of the app without an account; data then stays on your device.
Health and fitness data you log. Workouts, exercises, sets and weights, body weight and measurements, progress photos, food and water logs, and goals you set. If you grant Apple Health (HealthKit) permission, the app reads data such as steps, heart rate, active energy, sleep, and workouts from Apple Health to power its features.
Purchase status. If you subscribe to Klimb Pro, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We receive subscription status (not your payment details) via our billing provider, RevenueCat.
Your logs power your own dashboards, plans, and progress tracking. If you use Coach K's AI features (chat, meal plans, weekly reviews, body-composition analysis), the relevant parts of your fitness context are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) through our own server to generate your coaching response. AI requests are processed to provide the feature and are not used to train models per our provider agreement.
Your data is stored on your device. If you sign in, an encrypted-in-transit copy syncs to your private row in our database (hosted on Supabase) so your account works across devices. Access is restricted so only your authenticated account can read or write your data.
Apple Health data read from HealthKit is used on your device and within your own account's sync. We never use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third parties, in line with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.
We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Workout share cards and shared plans leave the app only when you explicitly share them. Community submissions (such as shared foods or plans) are visible to other users and moderated.
You can delete all local data in Settings → Reset all data. To delete your account and cloud data, contact us at the email below and we will remove your account records. Progress photos never leave your device unless you use an AI analysis feature, in which case the photo is processed for that request.
Klimb is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We'll update this page when the policy changes and note the date above.
